Our editorial team has full autonomy. While Cricvic uses data partnerships to power our live match centre and rankings, our news coverage and opinions are 100% independent. We do not accept payment in exchange for positive coverage of players, leagues, or cricket boards.

Content standards
Every piece of content on Cricvic goes through a quality control check:
- Manual review. Articles are reviewed by human editors for context and grammar.
- Attribution. Direct quotes and external data are clearly attributed to their sources.
- Anti-plagiarism. We publish only original editorial content.
- No clickbait. Headlines accurately reflect the article's core content.
Sources and data verification
We distinguish between editorial content (news) and automated data (scores and stats).

- First-hand match analysis, official team press conferences, and verified social feeds of players and boards.
- Real-time data
- A professional sports data provider, plus official ICC, BCCI and PCB records.
How we verify: we compare feed data against live broadcasts for accuracy, and editors make sure stats are used correctly within news stories.
Transparency and corrections
If we make a mistake, we own it.
Significant factual corrections will be noted at the bottom of the article with an "Update" or "Correction" timestamp.
